The 5-week BMD Ready program is designed to create an entry pathway for school-leavers to get hands-on, practical experience and build a rewarding career in the construction industry.
About the program
At BMD, we’re growing at a rapid rate. With so many projects under our belt, as well as projected growth, we’re looking for young people who have an interest in beginning a rewarding career in civil construction as part of our labour force – in a company that offers great career progression and pathways – to bring these projects to life.
That's where BMD Ready comes in!
Delivered in partnership with Construction Skills Queensland and Construction Skills Training Centre (CSTC), the program is held over five weeks: the first two in a classroom setting learning life skills, followed by three weeks of structured workplace learning on site.
Participants who successfully complete the program will gain an industry white card and units of competencies transferable to certificates in civil construction and be considered for full time employment at BMD!
