About the project
BMD, through the AeroWest Joint Venture, delivered the design and construction of the Landside Civils and Buildings package at the Western Sydney International (Nancy-Bird Walton) Airport (WSI).
Built from the ground up, WSI is Australia’s first major greenfield international airport development in more than 50 years and will become Sydney’s second major international airport.
Integrating road, bus, and future rail connections, the project links the terminal precinct to the new M12 Motorway and Sydney’s broader transport network, enabling seamless passenger and freight movement.
The project forms a key part of the foundations that will connect Western Sydney to global markets, opportunities and communities.
