Client
Water Corporation
Status
In progress
BMD is delivering the Kwinana Water Reclamation Plant Upgrade for Water Corporation, increasing recycled water production capacity to support growing industrial demand across Western Australia's Western Trade Coast.

Since 2004, the plant has supplied high-quality recycled water to the Western Trade Coast, reducing reliance on groundwater and scheme water. The upgrade will increase production capacity from 16.7 to 26.7 megalitres per day and extend the plant's operational life by approximately 25 years, strengthening long-term water security.

Works are being undertaken within a live operating facility, maintaining recycled water supply to industry throughout construction. Early Contractor Involvement has supported collaboration between the owner, operator, contractor, consultant and vendors across design, procurement, construction planning and risk management to progress in parallel.
