About the project
BMD is delivering the first stage of the New Richmond Bridge project.
This includes two new roundabouts, realigned road, demolition of the existing bridge, construction of a new bridge and relocating utilities. These works will enhance the Hawkesbury-Nepean Valley Flood Evacuation Network to improve traffic flow and safety during flood events.
Located near BMD’s current works at RAAF Base Richmond and Richmond System Wastewater Upgrade, this project benefits from BMD’s local knowledge – helping to minimise disruption to the community and road users throughout delivery.
