About the project

BMD, in joint venture with Leed, and with design partner Mott McDonald, on behalf of the South Australian Government, is delivering the Verdun Interchange Upgrade. The upgrade will allow access to and from the South Eastern Freeway in all directions.

Scheduled to open to traffic in late 2027, these works will boost commuter safety, enhance connectivity and improve traffic flow in the Adelaide Hills region.

The Verdun Interchange Upgrade project represents another significant milestone in BMD’s long-term commitment to South Australia. As BMD continues to strategically shape critical infrastructure across the state, the focus remains on strengthening industry partnerships, developing a skilled workforce, and maximising social and economic opportunities.
