BMD Group’s JMac has achieved a momentous milestone at the $9.2 million Legacy House project, marking a significant development in providing a multi-disciplinary, collaborative care centre for veterans and their families.

The topping out ceremony of Legacy House Brisbane was celebrated last month, signifying the successful completion of an important stage in the project and bringing the veteran community one step closer to enhanced support services.

Located within the Greenslopes Hospital Precinct, the new Legacy building is set to house multiple support and care services as well as provide a safe, welcoming space for veterans and their families.

As JMac moves into the next phase of construction, their focus will remain on collaboration with Legacy and a commitment to delivering cost efficiencies through long standing relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.

BMD Group Executive Director - People and Process Dare Power said this milestone reflects how strong relationships combined with deep industry expertise create impact within our communities.

“The strength of the BMD Group and JMac relationship has enabled JMac and its supply chain partners to come together in support of Legacy House, resulting in discounted materials and rates being made available,” he said.

“As a proud partner of Legacy for more than a decade, and supported by a strong and trusted supply chain, this reflects what is possible when long-standing relationships are united by a shared purpose: delivering meaningful outcomes for veterans and their families.”

The project is expected to be completed later this year. Learn more about Legacy Brisbane.
