BMD's 2025-26 Annual Review reflects a year of disciplined growth, stronger capability and continued investment in the foundations for BMD’s future growth.

BMD achieved Group revenue of $2.5 billion in FY26 and ended the year with more than $3 billion in work in hand, providing a strong platform for continued investment in its people, systems and capability.

BMD's workforce grew to 2,592 people, with the Group securing 131 new projects and completing 113, delivering infrastructure and development across transport, water and wastewater, renewable energy, defence, resources, residential development and community infrastructure.

FY26 also delivered meaningful improvement in safety performance. Group TRIFR12 reduced from 4.9 to 3.4 and LTIFR12 from 1.0 to 0.4, supported by the implementation of Full Power Safety and a stronger focus on the critical controls that protect people from serious harm.

BMD's impact extended beyond project delivery. During the year, the Group spent $73.5 million with First Nations businesses, engaging 206 unique Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander businesses. A further $1.5 million was spent with 21 certified social enterprises, supporting 11,800 hours of employment for people facing barriers to work, while more than $144,000 was provided to 32 grassroots organisations through the Community Assistance Program.

BMD continued to invest in the capability and systems required to support growth, progressing it’s TechnologyOne enterprise resource planning transformation and continued material investment in its three-year safety strategy, alongside continued investment in its people and operational capability.

The Group continued to strengthen its international presence, building capability in the United Kingdom and Philippines and establishing the foundations of a United States presence, initially in Texas.

The Annual Review also brings together the projects that defined FY26, progress across BMD's operating businesses, the Group's approach to sustainability and environmental management, and the partnerships creating enduring legacies in the communities in which BMD operates.

In his CEO's Report, Group Director and Chief Executive Officer Scott Power reflected on the importance of maintaining BMD's culture as the business continues to grow.

“"Growth cannot come at the expense of the culture that has made BMD successful. We must preserve the relationships, family values and practical mindset that define us, while building the scale, consistency and capability required for the future."”

With strong foundations, diverse capability and a significant pipeline of work, BMD enters FY27 focused on disciplined delivery, continued improvement and creating enduring value for its clients, people, partners and communities.
