BMD to deliver Moorebank Avenue Upgrade as part of Qube’s Moorebank Logistics Park
BMD Constructions has started works on the Moorebank Avenue Upgrade for new client, Qube, located south west of the Sydney CBD. As an experienced contractor, highly regarded for the delivery of complex infrastructure projects across New South Wales for 18 years, BMD will deliver civil works to raise the road by two metres and widen from two to four lanes.
The upgrade contributes to accommodating all construction and operational access for Qube’s development of the Moorebank Logistics Park. The Moorebank Logistics Park will have a dedicated freight rail line from Port Botany to the site, reducing heavy truck movements on Sydney roads.
BMD’s works as part of the Moorebank Avenue Upgrade include traffic and capacity improvements, road alignment adjustments to align with and facilitate adjacent development levels, access arrangements, drainage works and services relocation.
The project is due for completion in early 2020.
