About the project
Following the successful delivery of Stage 1 in 2020, BMD is continuing work on the Haughton Pipeline Duplication Project, undertaking Stage 2 for repeat client Townsville City Council to strengthen the region’s water security.
Located approximately 100 kilometres south of Townsville, Stage 2 involves the installation of 28 kilometres of DN1800 raw water and associated pipework infrastructure between the Haughton and Burdekin Rivers.
